The Brief

BankWAW is an exceptional regional customer-owned bank that exists to serve its shareholder-customers, naturally offering more competitive interest rates and lower fees than the major banks beholden to ASX shareholders. However, their branding, marketing, and advertising had fallen short. Our brief was to break through the saturated banking market and reignite the brand’s growth.

What we are doing

We developed brand and product creative that’s deliberately down-to-earth, local, and friendly. BankWAW was founded over 60 years ago to genuinely help community members who weren’t getting a fair deal from conventional banks. Sometimes the best approach is simply telling a great story in a way that connects—and we have. We also ensure the brand highlights BankWAW’s hundreds of community partnerships and programs. It’s a compelling story worth telling across, social, digital and other advertising and comms channels.
