The BriefBuild a brand and digital communications for a research leader that is aiming to take on the technology challenges that face the whole Australian research ecosystem. Every Australian Researcher utilises ARDC technology. Important research influences almost every part of our lives including health, culture, technology, sustainability and wildlife.
SolutionThe research sector is filled with brands that use common tropes of national imagery. If you have a symbol for Australia, some indigenous dots, a swirl or two, a colour palate of our natural landscape and a straight and technical tone of voice that only academia can understand, it’s likely your organisation is a research brand. The ARDC is for the benefit of all Australians. We built a bright, open and futuristic brand mark combined with progressive design, colour and an easy to understand approachable personality. The Australian Research Data Commons is for all of us.
OutcomeThe ARDC was launched late in 2018 to the Australian government, research community and university sector. The organisation is now well recognised throughout the research community and a leading influencer for change in the sector.
